I am in Busan Museum of Art. The main exhibition of Busan Biennale is taking place here.
Here you can enjoy various works of famous artists.
Now, I am going to invite you to this awesome place.
2014 Busan Biennale will be held for 64 days from 20th September to 22nd November.
This event consists of main exhibition and two special exhibitions like Biennale Archive Exhibition and Asian Curtorial Exhibition.
Main exhibition shows 250 works of 77teams from 27countries, Biennale Archive Exhibition 109 works of 48 teams from one country, and Asian Curatorial Exhibion 125 works of 36teams from 9 countries.
In the case of main exhibition, the theme is 'Inhabiting in the World'.
In this year, a lot of various genre works with this theme are being exhibited, and most of them are installation art.
Famous artists, such as Kim Su Ja from Korea, Chihiru Shiota from Japan, (파브리스 위베르) from France, and (아니쉬 카푸어) from India participated in this event, and they provide keen insight into problems that happen in this unstable world in which we live.
With their own artworks, they express their active and lively attitude toward the movements of this world, and this energy can be seen as an equivalence of dynamic of Busan.
Meanwhile, in main exhibition, the Docent program provides people with explanations related to artworks, and conversation program, student program, and invitation program help people to enjoy the exhibition a lot more.
We can notice the limitless possibility of modern art through various ideas and wonderful creativity of those artists who participate in Busan Biennale.
Busan Biennale is an art festival which is held in Busan biennially.
We hope that Busan Biennale becomes an outstanding event among various biennale events held all around the world.
